Tim is completing his Masters in Music Therapy and Counseling from Immaculata University in 2025. Upon completing his degree, he is LPC-eligible and will begin the process of obtaining his LPC through the state of Pennsylvania. He is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with considerable experience in inpatient psychiatric facilities, partial hospitalizations, outpatient, and those with co-occurring disorders. He has worked with populations such as substance use disorder, depression, trauma, schizophrenia, anxiety, ADHD, and autism. Tim focuses on skills and cognitive based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and psychoeducation as well as existential theories. He is a strong believer in the power of group therapy and music. He lives by the quote, “Music is what language would love to be if it could” (John O’Donohue). Tim brings compassion, humor, and authenticity to group therapy to help foster support as well as safety for individuals experiencing distressing times so that they can be their authentic selves. He uses music to help express, process, externalize, and experience emotions or events to help clients reach therapeutic goals through creative music and sound interventions. He seeks to help clients utilize music and music interventions to foster growth now and in the long term.
