Darian Fiorenza is a licensed professional counselor, board-certified art therapist, and certified yoga instructor who holds a Master’s of Science in clinical mental health counseling and art therapy from Holy Family University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in contemplative studies from West Chester University and a minor in studio arts from Savannah College of Art and Design. Darian utilizes an eclectic and holistic, humanistic, person-centered approach utilizing CBT, IFS parts work, ACT, ERP, positive psychology, DBT, MI, yoga and somatic practices, mindfulness, and art psychotherapy. Darian has experience in the outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization settings. Despite utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, Darian believes every person is a unique individual who does not adhere to the same one-size-fits-all approach and emphasizes a collaborative treatment experience with clients. Darian believes every individual is the expert on themselves and has the power to create lasting change to lead a fulfilling life within a non-judgmental and empathetic environment. Darian has worked with diverse client populations of all ages, genders, and sexualities as an LGBTQ-affirming clinician with clients struggling with substance use disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and other mental illnesses.
Darian works with individuals to improve their self-esteem, confidence in themselves and their relationships, and to heal from past experiences. Darian aims for all clients to discover their authentic selves, express their emotions and needs appropriately, and cultivate self-compassion regularly to navigate life’s hardships. Darian spends her free time teaching yoga, reading, cooking and eating good food, creating art, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and husband.
